Joyce, HuiNi, Janna, Salanne, ZhiYu, Kelly & Perth's students! [:

Hey People! PERTH IS AWESOMEEE! :D

Everyone had their breakfast at their apartments and got ready to board the coach for Mercedes College.

Once we reached there, the principle of the college brought us to the college and explained the history of the college with a few other teachers.

In Singapore, we call it secondary 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 but in Australia, they call it Grades 1 - 8.

After the introduction of the college, a few students came and brought us around the school. The students there were very friendly, when we walked past their classes, they will look at us and most of them will say 'hi'. (:

After that, we were posted to different classes to attend their lessons for about half an hour. It was so unexpected! When the teacher was explaining to the class, the whole class was as quiet as a mouse. We can't even hear a single murmuring. The other thing was that when the teacher asked the class a question, they will respond in a very polite way, like rising up their hands until the teacher ask them to speak.

We can REALLY REALLY REALLY sense the difference between the lessons are going on in Singapore and Australia. Ms Michael was inside the room too and when we just stepped out of the classroom, she spoke to Salanne and I that she was very surprised by the behaviour of the students.

Just two words to describe them, RESPONSIVE AND SELF-DISCIPLINED!

I really love the behaviour of the students because it's not like Singapore's, the students shout and scream in classes or even during lessons. The students in Singapore does not raise up their hands before answering any questions, they just simply shout out the answers, which is a very rude behaviour.

After the college, we went to have lunch. YUMMY! :D

Visited Chocolate and nougat factory. There were so many different types of chocolates and nougats that you can't find in Singapore. (: Same, it's yummy too! Haha! Saw almost everyone bought the chocolates and nougats for their families, and not just a few packets, it's like, two whole big plastic bags! Many even spent more than $100 Singapore dollars! Rich hur?! But it's NICE!

Followed by dinner. We had Subway on the steps outside the Curtin University because we were late. :x Went into one of the rooms and we were instructed to make our own jewellery; a necklace. We did some parts of the jewellery and we were supposed to return to the University to continue the next day.

So, that's all for this day! :D
