Hi, I am Ivan posting for day 2.

Day 2 was the second and last day at the farm. We woke up quite early in the morning for breakfast and as we stepped out of the apartment, it was freezing cold outside and my face was instantly numb. So, we quickly rushed into the function room where breakfast was about to be served.

After that, we were taken around to see the farm and we were accompanied by Mr. David who was the head of the farm. First we went to see the horses where we were allowed to feed it with carrots. It was fun as it was the first time for many of us to feed a horse. We then moved on to see how the shearing of the sheep was done. The professional sheep shearer also explained to us how much the fur cost depending on the amount of fur collected he also joked with us.

It was now to the winery to see how wine was made at the farm. Mr. David then explained to us how wine was made. It has huge tools in the place such as huge barrels to mix the pure grape with alcohol and another huge container with gaps in between to allow the wine to flow out after it has been separated from the skin of the grape and its seeds. The next step was then to transfer the separated wine into another 3 huge metal containers at the lower level (as it is cooler at a lower level) where it will stay there for a few months as it allows all the other sediments to sink to the base before it is then transferred to bottles and selling them. We were allowed to fill up a few bottles but a few of my mischievous friends secretly went to have a taste of the wine and they ended up being told off by one of the teachers. I was the first one to fill a bottle and I have to admit that when putting the cork onto the top of the bottle was very difficult when doing it alone. So after struggling to put the cork in, I decided to help the others who were placing the cork in which made the bottle filling process faster which allowed each one of us to fill at a faster rate.

We then head off to take a group photo. It was now to see more animals and we fed lamas and goats. We also tasted some raw berries which were supposed to be made for making wine and it tasted rather weird as it has a mix of bitterness and sweetness. The next item was lunch where we had chicken and mixed beans.

After lunch, it was then time for physical activities. It was the treasure hunt event! For the first activity we had to make a balloon tower to stand up alone to the height of a chair with the use of scotch tape and balloons. Our group was the first few to finish it and as for the next one, we were supposed to use natural objects around us to stop an egg to break from where Mr. David would drop and we came up with an idea of wrapping the egg with a few orange skin and using a ‘bouncy’ tree branch to cushion the impact and it succeeded! It was then the final activity where we had to find 12 objects out of the list of objects that Mr. David gave us. We ran around searching for the objects where we passed the camera around when one teammate was tired with this, we swiftly finished the race in first place! The prize was a box filled with titbits and we distributed around the group.

As we finished the event early, we were given free time to do whatever we want and this was where we ate our prize (kind of awkward).

It was then dinner where we had ice cream for dessert. Campfire was the next activity where we each made groups and we had to do a cheer and our group made out of all boys, made a few of them do pole dance and it was hilarious. The teachers also did a few cheers but it was too soft for us to even hear. So they made up a cheer leading to all the students following them and in the end walking in a line back to the function room.

Upon arrival at the function room, we were going to watch a movie starring Owen Wilson but it was quite boring and I think that it was not in our age group to watch that show so most of us went back to the apartment for a good night sleep.

Well that is it for the activities done in day 2 and I hope you liked it. Thanks.
